Sales Director

Exigence already has significant customers including McGraw Hill, SurveyMonkey, Cross River, Gemalto and others (inc. fortune 100 companies). The company is seeking a Sales Director who can aggressively acquire new major accounts and grow revenues.

Job Description

The Sales director position is responsible for acquiring new customers from large ($250+ million revenue) US based businesses. This requires managing a complex sales cycle working with business champions up through C level executives. The Sales Director manages all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting, demos, through Pilot to successful deal closing. Sales Director must have extensive experience selling complex software / SaaS based solutions into CTO, CIO, Cybersecurity, and Operations functional areas. Sales Director must be an experienced field sales “hunter” with significant relationships in the above-mentioned functional areas, outstanding sales skills and track record for acquiring new major accounts.

  • Acquire new major accounts to meet / exceed quota.

  • Work with the CEO to develop, prioritize and implement sales strategies and plans.

  • Identify and penetrate targeted prospects with significant revenue generation potential.

  • Manage complete and complex sales-cycles involving business champions to C-level executives.

  • Build and deliver impactful, concise demos, presentations, etc. that demonstrate deep understanding of customer needs and how our solutions fulfill them.

  • Use a sales automation system (HubSpot) to update prospect and customer information, develop pipeline, estimate timing and value of potential sales opportunities.

  • Minimum of 5 years business-to-business sales experience selling software / SaaS solutions to major accounts in the US.

  • Documented, proven track record in closing new accounts and consistently meeting sales quotas.

  • Documented success selling $100K-500K annual revenue contracts with yearly quota achievement of $1M+.

  • Significant experience selling to senior executives within CTO, CIO, Cybersecurity, and Operations functions.

  • Strong sales skills including prospecting, needs analysis, demos, proposal development, Pilot, negotiation, and “closing”.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Experience in using a CRM as part of daily routine (Hubspot).

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Preference given for experience selling to large Financial Services and SaaS based companies.
